Job Description

Through recent mergers and acquisitions they have also became the single biggest organization in this market segment. Needless to say that our client is relying on state of the art technologies and IT solutions to enable and ensure smooth day-to-day operations and activities. The IT Infrastructure support and software development services are provided by a network of globally distributed data centers, one of which is based in Prague.Our client is currently looking for a dedicated technical software tester to join IT development centre in Prague and help advance the technology and functionality of our systems. The variety of challenging tasks you will be accomplishing include reviewing specifications, preparing test cases and models, design and implement scripts for automation of test executions and of course actual test execution (manual or automated). Your work will focus mainly on reliability, volume and stress testing. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers and other testers in our agile working environment and the high availability and reliability requirements of our systems will challenge your testing skills.
Requirements
- Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- Passion for software testing (ideally with focus on technical testing)
- Familiarity with Linux
- Knowledge of Scripting Languages (specifically Python and Shell)
- A university degree in information technology, engineering, natural sciences or economics is a plus
- English is essential, German can be beneficial
- An interest in financial markets, derivatives or cash trading will be appreciated.
