Currently there is an opportunity for a Senior Sybase Database Administrator with experience in supporting, maintaining and monitoring complex large-scale Sybase databases. In this role you would be responsible for proactive maintenance and administration of Sybase databases. You would also be focusing on system availability and stability improvement, fail over and resilience solutions prevent performance issues and ensure agreed service levels.
Requirements
- Excellent Sybase Database Administration skills with at least 3+ years experience in a DBA position in large corporate IT environment
- Good knowledge of Sybase ASE and Replication Server
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux OS administration and shell scripting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
- Sybase professional certifications are welcomed
