Senior DWH Developer

Job Description

Our client is is Europe's largest Telecoms provider. Their products and services include bandwidth, virtual private networks, high-speed Internet access and transit, managed hosting, communications services and media streaming. The companys combined network assets represent one of the largest and most advanced voice and data networks in Europe. 

We are looking for a Senior DWH Developer who is competent with DWH, ETL concepts and has advanced working knowledge of at least one market-leading ETL tool. 
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Microsoft SQL Server Integration/Reporting/Analysis Services would be of additional value.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and test core data structures (data marts and Data Warehouse) and ETL routines supporting  BI solutions (Business Objects, Oracle BI EE) 
  • Creating and modifying Universes/Subject Areas and other metadata structures 
  • Ongoing maintenance and support of ETL and DBMS platforms 

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience in:
  • SQL development or ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services)
  • General BI development (Business Objects/OBIEE/SQL Server Reporting Services) preferably within the telecommunications sector
  • Platform components knowledge plus its administration, maintenance and optimisation: Informatica OBIEE 10 and/or SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Information Systems knowledge/courses in: Databases, Reporting, Data Warehousing, ETL tools, Programming, Systems Analysis, Business Systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
