Senior .Net Developer
Job Description
You will be joining a Swiss owned (HQ in Switzerland) software development/systems integrator company who set up a development function in Czech Republic in the early 90's. Since then they have grown and expanded and are now a successfully and fully staffed operation employing ~100 senior software development professionals split between Brno and Prague offices. You will be working on complex and challenging projects for the company's customers. The client portfolio primarily consists of banks, insurance companies and international manufacturing corporations located in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.As a result of continual success the Development team in Prague is growing and is currently looking to bring on board a Senior .Net Developer.
Position summary:
- Development and implementation of extensive system on platform .NET 2.0 - .NET 4.0, C#, design and code documentation, code testing, integration
- Working on system architecture/design together with senior members of the team
- Work on enterprise projects on platform .NET for customers in Western Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Sweden)
- Participation on definition of development environment and internal standards
Requirements
- University degree in IT, CS or related discipline is highly desirable
- 2+ years experience in software development using C# and .Net framework
- Experience in architecture and development of bigger/complex .NET solutions/projects
- Knowledge of OOP concepts and terminology
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, ideally MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- Knowledge of other relevant Microsoft technologies such as WPF/Silverlight, SharePoint portal - would be advantageous
- Ability to work under stress and to tight project deadlines
- Very good command of English and Czech languages - both written and oral
- Good communicator, active and motivated to develop professionally
