Senior Application Engineer (automotive)

Job Description

This job is based in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The automotive engineering team of this client provides a range of activities for the definition and support of the next generation micro controller products for future cars. In close cooperation with European automotive manufacturers and suppliers we analyze system level requirements and translate them into a technical product proposal. Within a worldwide team we consolidate local technical requirements to finally turn these into silicon solutions meeting the worldwide market needs. Following the specification phase we support our European lead customers from initial prototyping to qualification phase.

  • Interesting Projects with the opportunity to build up technical expertise in all automotive applications
  • Active cooperation with OEM`s, Tier1, consulting partners and a worldwide team
  • Analyze customer requirements and map them to creative new system solutions
  • Promotion of the new solutions on application level together with our customers

Requirements

  • Understanding of modern automotive applications
  • Already some experience in programming embedded systems and in designing embedded hardware
  • Motivation to work in international teams with international customers
  • Creative thinking and no concerns to manage important projects
  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Good German and English skills
