QA for Bussines Inteligence
Job Description
Our client is the member of private Swiss group which was founded in 1992 and has offices in Zurich, Prague and Brno. The idea of establishing the company was to provide services leading to optimization of key processes in the companies of customers. Company offers its employees working on large-scale long term international projects mainly for Western Europe customers. This company belongs among the best providers of complex .NET, BI, Java and iSeries solutions in Europe.Our client is currently looking for a QA person responsible for testing of internally developed business intelligence applications on Microsoft platform. We work on a broad range projects for which we create data warehouses, client/server enterprise systems, web applications etc. Your responsibilities will consist of the following tasks:
- Preparation of test cases based on the specifications and tasks from customer
- Preparation of test data
- Automated and manual testing based on the prepared test cases and data, verification of test results analysis and reporting of found bugs
- Participate on creation of key user tests and business flow test together with our international customers
- Participate on verification of functional specifications for new releases, ensure they completeness, consistency and compatibility with existing systems and processes
Requirements
- Experience with testing of software more than 1 year (as main work content)
- Experience with preparation of test cases
- Readiness to learn new things.
- Accuracy and reliability in work. Focus on details.
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Knowledge of business intelligence, optimally on MS platform
- Knowledge of UML
- Knowledge of SharePoint Portal is an advantage
- Knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 test environment is an advantage
- Experience with professional programming or development of MS BI platform (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Language skills: very good knowledge of English (at least FCE level) and Czech (Slovak)
- Education: secondary or university education, preferably IT/technical orientation
