Oracle DBA with German language
Job Description
Our client is an international financial services company with regional IT Development Center in Prague.On behalf of our client we are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with good communication skills in German and English languages.
Main duties:
- To undertake proactive maintenance and administration of Oracle databases 10g, 11g
- To improve database availability and stability with proactive work to avoid outages and performance issues with particular focus on maintenance services.
- Administration of Oracle databases in testing and development environments.
- Database monitoring and tuning.
- Support development and testing teams.
- Maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
Requirements
- Very good Oracle Database Administration skills on Unix/Solaris systems - min 5+ years commercial experience(can be less if you speak fluent German)
- Professional Oracle certifications are welcome
- PL/SQL Unix Shell scripting
- Fluent in English and German
- Oracle database administration experience within a corporate computing environment
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operation system
- Strong customer focus and communication skills
- Excellent team working ability
