QA Engineers (Junior/Senior)

Job Description

In this role you will participate in the overall system test & qualification of the product suite, particularly the search technology. The position requires a hands-on QA engineer with a strong analytical mindset and an interest in finding out how search technology functions at a programmatic level. This position is focused on validating new search technology in international markets, and provides an excellent opportunity to work with an international team of professionals working on the next generation of search technology software.

The position involves: 

  • Analyzing and reporting on search quality and performance.
  • Working closely with Product and Engineering Management, customer support, and customers to validate product use cases and requirements.
  • Developing and executing test cases to verify the product specifications and requirements of the search engine and related infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with software developers to resolve issues to ensure a quality product is released on time with predictable stability.


Requirements

  • BS Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Database testing.
  • Solid SQL knowledge and use.
  • Perl, Bash, Shell or other scripting
  • Knowledge of Java development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data.
  • Working knowledge of software engineering and quality assurance processes.
  • Adept at identifying technical bottlenecks and potential software limitations.
  • Solid background and experience working with networking technologies and database systems.
  • Team player.
