AS/400 Senior Administrator

In the role as a systems administrator and technician you would be responsible for monitoring, maintenance and support of System i (formerly known as AS/400). You would also be expected to prevent and resolve potential problems as well as plan and execute new deployments to ensure agreed levels of service. You would be closely working and collaborating with other teams on planning and implementing upgrades, fixes, changes and releases.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in System i (formerly known as AS/400) administrationsupport and maintenance
  
• Admin level knowledge of any of the following RDBMS - Oracle, Informix, Sybase, MSSQL
• Programming with PL/SQL or scripting in Shell or Perl would be considered advantageous
• Excellent communication skills in English
• University degree in IT or similar preferred
