Java Developer – Capital Markets – Liferay/Spring/

Job Description

Opportunity to Join Software development team in Prague with this European Banking Group. The group founded and Headquartered in Belgium has a market capitalisation of around 9 billion Euros, this financial group is one of the top Belgian companies and is one of the top-5 leading financial groups in Central and Eastern Europe. Currently they are looking for junior, mid and senior level Java developers.
Job Role:
  • Technical design and development of ICT projects (based on J2EE technologies) 
  • Development of client-oriented system that integrates clients' activities in transaction systems 
  • Use of RUP methodology



Requirements

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years practical experience with developing in JAVA and J2EE 
  • Experience with Java based thin clients (browser based), preferably portlets.
  • General knowledge of OOP
  • Practical knowledge of UML
  • Advanced English 

Advantage is:
  • Practical experience with Servlets and JSP  
  • Knowledge of XML  
  • Knowledge of SQL  
  • Experience with AS IBM WebSphere  
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect  
  • Knowledge of banking environment 
  • Team player, Self-starter
