Java Developer - BI / Cloud Business

Job Description

Unique opportunity to join the global leader in cloud Business and Data intelligence. Our client is probably still considered a start up although through fast growth and success they are already profitable, with users in over 2,500 companies and currently employ approx 100 employees. With their Headquarters and business operations based in the US, they are also proportionately growing their development operation here in Czech Republic (Operations in Prague and Brno).

This company is looking for both backend and also frontend developers (positions are open in two different teams).

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementation of Java-based integration framework (using Spring 3.0)
  • Gathering of functional/technical requirements and functional/technical analysis
  • Strong contribution to the architecture and design expected
  • Cross-Team communication
  • UML modeling (MagicDraw)

Requirements

  • 2+ years work experience in Java (J2EE or J2SE)
  • Experience with Spring (or EJB), Maven + they are using REST but previous experience is not required at all
  • Experience with enterprise application design patterns
  • Experience with UML is an advantage
  • Interest and a broader technology landscape (Perl, Python, Ruby …)
  • Location: Prague or Brno
