Java Developer – 6 month contract – Brno/Prague

Job Description

This is a contract opportunity working on a large banking application. The initial contract will be for 6 months but with a very likely 6 month extension. You will be joining a 20 man development team and the role can be based in either Prague or Brno region.

Responsibilities:

  • Programming based on functional requirements
  • Creation of technical documentation
  • Assembly and Unit Testing
  • Performance tuning of application and removal of defects
  • Checking compliance with development standards

Requirements

We require:

  • Active knowledge and experience in programming in Java
  • Very good knowledge of OOP
  • design patterns knowledge
  • Active approach to assigned tasks
  • Good communication skills

advantage:

  • Knowledge of banking processes
  • knowledge of DB - Oracle / PLSQL
  • knowledge of application servers, IBM WebSphere, Boss, BEA
  • Experience with the development of Internet / Intranet applications and distributed systems
