The idea of establishing the company was to provide services leading to optimization of key processes in the companies of customers. Company offers its employees working on large-scale long term international projects mainly for Western Europe customers. This company belongs among the best providers of complex .NET, BI, Java and iSeries solutions in Europe.Successful candiadate will maintain and enhance his skills working as iSeries administrator and technical support team member specialized in IT infrastructure projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning, verifying and realizing application infrastructure changes related to iSeries and iSeries based ERP applications
- Planning, designing, testing and deploying IT framework infrastructure solutions in area of backup/recovery and high availability
- Monitoring machine performance and analyzing problematic areas
- Providing technical support to application development and support teams
Requirements
- Language knowledge: fluent English and Czech or Slovak
- Detailed knowledge of IBM iSeries architecture e.g. job management, security and database
- Previous experience with iSeries Administration
- DDS, SQL data manipulation language statements
- Basic knowledge and practice in iSeries programming
- 1+ year experience with iSeries based ERP or banking system and its practical implementation and maintenance
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure maintenance and support processes
