E-commerce Solution Architect/ Designer

Job Description

Our client is an international  online strategy and marketing company that supports businesses throughout the UK with Internet-related solutions, including multi-channel e-commerce platform. They offer complete service from website creation to the full range of marketing and management techniques. The company employs up to 100 employees in the UK and CZ based offices. Whilst UK media centers are primarily focusing on the marketing and advertising activities Prague operations are providing the necessary technical support and software development services.


The offices in Prague are technology centre responsible for development, management, implementation and support of e-commerce systems and other applications. Currently it employs about 30 developers, designers and support staff. 


On behalf of our client we are now looking for E-commerce Solution Architect/Designer.


Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical designs for large e-commerce systems and integrations with ERP systems
  • Evaluate and estimate complexity of projects including identifying possible impact on existing systems
  • Participate in the development process regarding architecture design, help the development team with integration problems
  • Identify and address technical or operational risks and assess business impact of specific technologies/strategies
  • Push technical innovation in overall solution architecture
  • Take creative approaches to problem solving and apply innovative methods


Requirements

  • Proven experience in solution design for complex e-commerce and/or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Experience in web based technologies, knowledge of new web technologies and social networks
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • UML knowledge
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form in English
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL and Magento is an advantage
