C# / .Net Developer - Network Monitoring System

Currently there is an opening for an experienced C# / .Net Developer in the Network Tools and Support  team.

In this role your main responsibilities will be:
  • Development, testing, documentation and roll out of a new network monitoring system
  • Analysis and implementation of interfaces towards existing systems(e.g. inventory)
  • Working on the overall architecture of a distributed software system

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills required:
  • University degree in IT, CS or related discipline
  • 3+ years experience in software development projects using .Net / C#
  • Excellent development skills in Microsoft Visual Studio with .NET framework
  • Very good programming  skills in C#
  • Knowledge in SOA/Message Bus/ServiceBus (WSF, MSMQ, etc.) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of software design patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
  • Experience in development of different user interfaces (Web, Windows, RIA, WPF, Silverlight)
  • Experienced in database, O/R- mappers and Entity Framework
  • Basic knowledge in the area of network management/monitoring. Previous development experience in this field would be ideal, but not required

Person requirements:
  • Ability to work alone and under own initiative. Highly motivated to resolve problems
  • Good communication and analytic skills 
  • Fluent in English is a must, German knowledge is an advantage
  • Willingness to work in Frankfurt for first 3-5 months
