In this role you will be  joining their ground-breaking Automotive Team who focus on integrating the latest technologies and gadgets directly to the most advanced high end cars in the industry.

ROLE: 

As a Build Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, build and release related activities in the Maps team. We work on both S60 and S40 platforms, so individual responsibilities can be defined based on your experience and interests, but they will include regular integration, building and releasing of the Nokia Maps application, management of the SW configuration management system, release note creation, release quality tracking and release communication with our customers. 
Your duties will also include providing support to other team members in SW configuration management issues, integration trouble shooting and error debugging, build process development and automation, build environment and tools development and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Proven expertise in a field of software development, especially in SW build and integration management
  • Experience with SW configuration management tools and scripting languages (e.g. CM Synergy, Perl, Python)
  • Experience with debugging/tracing tools
  • Experience with S60 and/or S40 platforms
  • Ability and drive to learn and to work with new technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently under high pressure with tight deadlines and demanding quality objectives
  • Enjoy working independently with little supervision
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent English, both in spoken and written form is required
